Conical Stained Glass Pendant
The Conical Stained Glass Pendant is built the traditional way, with individual panels of amber-toned glass set into a hand-soldered brass channel and bent outward at the lower edge to create its flared rim. At 50 cm across and 40 cm tall, it is large enough to anchor a dining table or reading nook on its own. The brass framework forms a series of radiating lines from the center cap to the flared rim, while the warm amber glass softens the bulb light into a honey-colored glow on the surface below. It hangs from a single black cord with a brass canopy and takes a standard E26 bulb.

Where It Works
Sized as a statement pendant meant to hang alone — over a dining table, a reading nook, or a writing desk — as the main visual anchor of the room. It works best over tables 120 cm long or wider, hung roughly 75–80 cm above the table surface. In a room under 10 m² it can feel oversized. Unlike the smaller pieces in this series, the Conical is not meant to be clustered; a single fixture anchors the space.
Installation & Care
Hardwired ceiling installation – a licensed electrician is recommended.
Compatible with a standard wall switch (not included); for dimming, use a Triac dimmer paired with a dimmable LED bulb – non-dimmable bulbs will not dim.
The E26 socket is standard North American medium-base size and accepts most household LED bulbs. E27 (European) bulbs are interchangeable – either thread fits the socket.
Twist the bulb gently into the socket inside the cone. Do not exceed 60W – higher-wattage bulbs run hot and can stress the soldered joints over time.
The pendant is moderately heavy due to its size and glass-panel construction. Confirm the ceiling junction box is secured to a joist or fan-rated brace before mounting.
Cord ships at a standard drop length. Request a longer cord for high ceilings, or a shorter one for low ceilings, before the order ships.
Indoor use only. Not suitable for bathrooms, showers, or other damp locations – extended humidity can degrade the solder joints over time.
Wipe the glass panels with a soft, dry microfiber cloth. For fingerprints on the brass channel, use a slightly damp cloth and dry immediately – avoid abrasives or metal polish, as the channel finish is a thin coating.
Is this a hand-made stained glass pendant, or factory-pressed glass?
It uses the traditional leaded-glass method: each glass panel is cut to shape, fitted into a brass channel, and soldered together panel by panel – the same approach used in stained glass windows, scaled to a modern fixture. It is not a single piece of pressed glass with a brass overlay; the brass channel is structural. Because the work is done by hand, no two pieces are identical – solder bead width, channel alignment, and glass tone vary slightly from one fixture to the next.
What kind of light does the amber glass produce?
Warm and golden, on the honey-amber side rather than bright white. The glass panels are translucent, not transparent, so they diffuse the bulb rather than letting the filament show through, and they shift the light toward warmer tones even with a neutral-white bulb. If you want a brighter, whiter light, this isn't the right fixture – pair it with a cooler-toned task light elsewhere in the room.
How big is it really? Is 50 cm too large for my room?
At 50 cm across, this is a statement scale – large over a dining table, best suited to a 10–15 m² room. It works best over tables 120 cm long or wider, hung about 75–80 cm above the table surface. In a smaller room (under 10 m²) it can feel oversized for the space.
What bulb does it take – E26 or E27?
Both work. E26 (North American medium-base) and E27 (European medium-base) share the same thread diameter and are interchangeable – an E26 bulb from a US retailer will screw straight into the socket without an adaptor. Recommended: a warm-white LED at 2700–3000K, maximum 60W. A clear filament-style LED shows best behind the amber glass; an opal-bulb LED gives a slightly softer wash.
Can I use a dimmer with this light?
Yes, with the right combination. It dims when paired with a dimmable E26 LED bulb and a Triac dimmer switch. Non-dimmable LEDs will flicker or stay at full brightness on a dimmer, regardless of the fixture. A dimmed amber-glass pendant reads especially warm – useful for evening dining ambiance.
Will mine look exactly like the photos?
Close, but not identical. Hand-soldered glass construction produces small variations from piece to piece – solder bead width, channel alignment, and individual panel tone. These aren't defects; they're the consequence of building the piece by hand rather than pressing it from a mold, and the brass channel develops a warmer patina over time.
Is it certified for North America and Europe?
Yes. It operates on AC 110–240V worldwide, with compliance suitable for North America, Saudi Arabia, Europe, and Australia.
As a hand-soldered stained glass piece, slight variations in solder bead width, channel alignment, and glass tone are normal from fixture to fixture.

A 30-day window
You have 30 calendar days from confirmed delivery to request a return or exchange — just email support@auvielight.com with your order number, the item, and why you'd like to send it back. A request isn't complete until we've replied with written authorization, and any right to cancel that the law gives you doesn't wait on our approval.

What "eligible" means
For a change-of-mind return, we ask that the item be unused, uninstalled and unmodified, with every accessory and its original protective packaging intact. Opening the box carefully to check the item over doesn't disqualify it on its own — the packaging and product just need to still be complete and undamaged when it comes back to us. None of this overrides rights you have by law.

How to actually start one
Email us with your order number, which item you're returning, and your reason. Attach photos of the product, the box, the inner packaging and the shipping label if anything's wrong with it — that helps us move faster. Once we approve the return, we'll send you the address and any instructions; ship it with a trackable service, and for anything fragile or valuable, insurance is worth the cost. Hold onto your carrier receipt and tracking number until the whole thing is resolved.

Who covers the shipping back
If you're returning something simply because you changed your mind, or it wasn't quite what you pictured for the room, that return shipping — along with insurance and any related charges — is on you; for large or international pieces, that can add up, so ask us about the likely cost before you order if you're unsure. If instead the item arrived faulty, damaged in transit, or wasn't what you actually ordered, we cover reasonable return costs ourselves once the issue is confirmed.

Where it goes back to
The correct return address depends on your order and where it originally shipped from, so please wait for our written instructions rather than guessing. We will provide the exact recipient and address in writing for your specific order. The UK correspondence address is a contact point, not a place to send returns, unless we expressly tell you otherwise in writing.

Damaged, wrong, or faulty items
Tell us as soon as you can — ideally within 7 days of delivery — and include photos of the unopened box, the shipping label, the inner packaging and the item itself. Hold onto everything until we've given you next steps; please don't repair, discard, or send anything back before then. Reporting promptly helps us resolve it faster, but a later report doesn't cost you any right the law already gives you.

Items we generally can't take back
Anything made or personalized specifically to your order isn't eligible for a change-of-mind return once we've started producing it — though this doesn't affect your rights if the item turns out to be faulty or not what was described. The same goes for anything that's been installed, altered, damaged through use, or is missing its original parts or packaging.

Want to swap for something else? The same authorization process applies. We'll confirm any price difference, shipping cost and lead time with you in writing before we process it.

Inspection and getting your refund
Once your return reaches us, we aim to inspect it within 3 to 5 business days. From there, an approved refund usually reaches your original payment method within 7 to 14 business days, though your bank may take a little longer to post it. Wherever the law sets a faster deadline than this, we follow that instead. Where a deduction is legally permitted — for example, for reduced value from use beyond a reasonable check — we'll explain it before applying it.

Changing or cancelling before it ships
Reach out as soon as possible if you want to change or cancel an order. Within 24 hours of ordering, we'll make a requested cancellation or address change free of charge and confirm it in writing. After that, what is possible depends on order status; there may be permissible nonrecoverable costs, which we'll explain before asking you to confirm.
