Begin with the moment
Start with what happens in the room. Reading asks for a different kind of light from conversation, cooking or winding down. A fixture earns its place by supporting those moments.
Let proportion lead
Consider the room, the furniture and the space between them. A generous silhouette can feel calm when its placement is balanced; a smaller light can be expressive when it sits exactly where it belongs.
Make room for material
Stone carries a pattern. Glass changes with the daylight. Metal brings a warmer or cooler note. We value these differences as part of an interior, not as surfaces to hide.
Build an atmosphere in layers
