Cylindrical Veined Alabaster Shade · Fluted Brass Column · Blackened Metal Bracket. Fluted Brass Alabaster Cylinder Sconce combines natural veined alabaster with a vertically ribbed brass column and blackened metal bracket for a refined architectural wall light. Fluted Brass Alabaster Cylinder Sconce — Veined Alabaster Cylinder Wall Sconce This wall sconce mounts on a blackened metal bracket, which meets a fluted brass column with fine vertical ribbing before rising into a tall cylindrical alabaster shade above. The alabaster carries pronounced, marble-like veining, with darker streaks running through the pale stone that catch the warm light glowing from within, giving the shade a dramatic, almost painterly quality when lit. Built from brass and alabaster in a Blackened finish, it takes E14 base bulbs, LED or Edison compatible, and runs on AC 110V–240V. It's rated IP20 and damp-resistant (though not waterproof) for indoor use only, and installs as a hardwired wall-mounted fixture, with control compatible with common wall switches (not included). It comes in one size, Dia 3.6" x H 8.9", and is certified for use in North America, Saudi Arabia, Europe, and Australia, suiting a hallway, bedroom, or living room wall as a single accent or paired fixture. Key Features Cylindrical alabaster shade with pronounced, marble-like veining glows dramatically when lit Fluted brass column with fine vertical ribbing adds warm metallic texture beneath the shade Blackened metal bracket and hardware keep the overall look grounded and contemporary Compatible with common wall switches for straightforward on/off operation Certified for North America, Saudi Arabia, Europe, and Australia Specifications MaterialBrass, AlabasterShade FinishWhite Alabaster (Marble-Like Veining)Light SourceE14 Base, LED or Edison BulbVoltageAC 110V – 240VMoisture ResistanceIP20,, Not Waterproof, Indoor Use OnlyWiringHardwiredControlCompatible with Common Wall Switches (Not Included)Installation TypeHardwired Wall Mount, Indoor UseCertificationNorth America · Saudi Arabia · Europe · AustraliaColour / SizeBlackened + White AlabasterDia 5.1" x H 13.4" / Dia 13cm x H 34cm Where It Works At Dia 5.1" x H 13.4", this sconce has a slim, upright profile that suits placement beside a bedroom headboard, along a hallway, or flanking a mirror or entryway in pairs. The dramatic veining running through the alabaster gives each fixture a slightly different pattern, so the shade reads as a small, individual work of natural material rather than a uniform, mass-produced shade. The fluted brass column beneath the shade catches ambient light even when unlit, adding textural interest to the wall during the day, while the blackened bracket and hardware keep the overall silhouette from feeling overly ornate. Since control is compatible with common wall switches, the fixture can be operated from a standard wall switch once wired in. The IP20 damp rating means it can tolerate normal indoor humidity but is not designed for direct water exposure, so bathrooms with heavy moisture or fully exposed outdoor locations should be avoided. As this is a hardwired fixture, installation should be handled by a licensed electrician. Size & Dimensions Downloads FAQ Is the shade alabaster or marble? The shade material is alabaster, though its veining has a bold, marble-like appearance; each shade's exact pattern will vary slightly since it's a natural stone. Does this need to be hardwired by an electrician? Yes, it's a hardwired fixture, so installation should be handled by a licensed electrician. Can I install this in a bathroom? It's rated IP20 and damp-resistant for normal indoor humidity, but it's not waterproof, so it shouldn't be installed in areas with direct water exposure such as a shower.

Review the written specification and quotation before approving any custom work.
GOOD TO KNOW
Details worth bringing together.
01
A clearer visual conversation
A room concept can help you discuss placement, proportions and finish combinations. It is a way to compare ideas before final specifications are agreed.
02
From visual idea to specification
A visualization does not replace installation drawings, load calculations or electrical advice. Your installer needs the confirmed product specifications and site conditions.
03
Made personal, where possible
Changes to size, drop length, finish or configuration depend on the selected product. Share your preferences and ask for confirmation of availability and lead time.

Share a few useful details so the next step can be specific to your request.
As an initial visual exercise, compare a fixture around one-half to two-thirds of the table’s width. Shape, light distribution and the room can change what feels right.
This is a proportion study, not an installation specification. Check the actual fixture and have the final position reviewed for your space.
Illustrative fixture width range. Compare with the actual product dimensions.
BEYOND THE TABLE
Think about the space around the light.
Ceiling height
Record floor-to-ceiling height and the proposed drop. Allow for movement, doors and sightlines.
Room footprint
Measure the room and the furniture zone the light will serve. Consider the fixture from different viewpoints.
Wall positions
Check the relationship to mirrors, headboards, shelving and switches before choosing the mounting position.
Table & floor lamps
Look at shade height, reading position and nearby surfaces. The best scale also works for everyday use.
BEFORE YOU DECIDE
Measure. Mock up. Look again.
Use a paper outline or simple temporary marker to see the intended size in the room. Never suspend an unsafe improvised weight.
01
Record
Keep width, depth, ceiling height and the product dimensions together.
02
Compare
Look from the doorway, seated positions and adjacent rooms.
03
Confirm
Review the product instructions, suspension limits and mounting needs with your installer.

Need a second look?
Send your measurements and the fixture you have in mind.
A clear place to understand the return enquiry process and the information our team will need.
01
A 30-day window
You have 30 calendar days from confirmed delivery to request a return or exchange — just email support@auvielight.com with your order number, the item, and why you'd like to send it back. A request isn't complete until we've replied with written authorization, and any right to cancel that the law gives you doesn't wait on our approval.
02
What "eligible" means
For a change-of-mind return, we ask that the item be unused, uninstalled and unmodified, with every accessory and its original protective packaging intact. Opening the box carefully to check the item over doesn't disqualify it on its own — the packaging and product just need to still be complete and undamaged when it comes back to us. None of this overrides rights you have by law.
03
How to actually start one
Email us with your order number, which item you're returning, and your reason. Attach photos of the product, the box, the inner packaging and the shipping label if anything's wrong with it — that helps us move faster. Once we approve the return, we'll send you the address and any instructions; ship it with a trackable service, and for anything fragile or valuable, insurance is worth the cost. Hold onto your carrier receipt and tracking number until the whole thing is resolved.
04
Who covers the shipping back
If you're returning something simply because you changed your mind, or it wasn't quite what you pictured for the room, that return shipping — along with insurance and any related charges — is on you; for large or international pieces, that can add up, so ask us about the likely cost before you order if you're unsure. If instead the item arrived faulty, damaged in transit, or wasn't what you actually ordered, we cover reasonable return costs ourselves once the issue is confirmed.
05
Where it goes back to
The correct return address depends on your order and where it originally shipped from, so please wait for our written instructions rather than guessing. We will provide the exact recipient and address in writing for your specific order. The UK correspondence address is a contact point, not a place to send returns, unless we expressly tell you otherwise in writing.
06
Damaged, wrong, or faulty items
Tell us as soon as you can — ideally within 7 days of delivery — and include photos of the unopened box, the shipping label, the inner packaging and the item itself. Hold onto everything until we've given you next steps; please don't repair, discard, or send anything back before then. Reporting promptly helps us resolve it faster, but a later report doesn't cost you any right the law already gives you.
07
Items we generally can't take back
Anything made or personalized specifically to your order isn't eligible for a change-of-mind return once we've started producing it — though this doesn't affect your rights if the item turns out to be faulty or not what was described. The same goes for anything that's been installed, altered, damaged through use, or is missing its original parts or packaging.
08
Exchanges
Want to swap for something else? The same authorization process applies. We'll confirm any price difference, shipping cost and lead time with you in writing before we process it.
09
Inspection and getting your refund
Once your return reaches us, we aim to inspect it within 3 to 5 business days. From there, an approved refund usually reaches your original payment method within 7 to 14 business days, though your bank may take a little longer to post it. Wherever the law sets a faster deadline than this, we follow that instead. Where a deduction is legally permitted — for example, for reduced value from use beyond a reasonable check — we'll explain it before applying it.
10
Changing or cancelling before it ships
Reach out as soon as possible if you want to change or cancel an order. Within 24 hours of ordering, we'll make a requested cancellation or address change free of charge and confirm it in writing. After that, what is possible depends on order status; there may be permissible nonrecoverable costs, which we'll explain before asking you to confirm.
11
Your rights, regardless
Nothing in this policy limits a consumer right or remedy that can't legally be excluded, and wherever your local law offers stronger protection than what's written here, that stronger protection is what applies.
